Privacy
Our privacy policy
It is very important to us that personal data of our investors and interested parties - such as visitors to our website - are handled with care. Personal data is therefore treated and secured with the greatest possible care.
Data
The use of your data, why we collect it, and what we keep depends on your relationship with Right2Grow and what consent you have given. Therefore, please read this page before you register for such services.
What personal data do we collect?
We may collect personal data or sensitive personal data for various reasons. Right2Grow records data when you register for an event or request a digital newsletter. This is personal data and we will never provide it to third parties. Unless we are legally forced to do so - and then only after we have done a considerable amount of contradicting. Promise.
What other information do we collect?
When you visit our website, we use cookies to collect anonymous visitor data for analytical purposes. For example, it is nice for us to know which pages are visited and how often. Other information stored is your IP address, the type of device you are using (tablet, phone or desktop) and the type of browser. All this data cannot be traced back to a specific visitor and is therefore completely anonymous. If you do not want our website to collect analytical cookies during your visit to our website, you can disable them in your browser settings.
Why do we collect certain data?
We collect and use your information to keep in touch with you and keep you informed of our activities, to let you know the impact of your contribution, to invite you to an event, or inform you about an event you have signed up for. We do not send direct mailings (we do not like that either) and we will not use your data for that.
General visitor data is recorded on the Right2Grow website. The purpose of this is to optimise the design of the website. This data can also be used to put more specific data on the site. In this way we can ensure that the website and our services match the needs as closely as possible.
How do we collect data?
We collect data directly when you sign up for our newsletter or send us an email.
We collect data from external sources. For example, when you interact with us via social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube or LinkedIn). When you visit our website, anonymous data is collected using cookies. For example, we use software such as Google Analytics to determine which pages on our website are visited and their frequency. This information is collected automatically.
How long do we keep data?
The period of time we keep your personal data varies depending on the purpose. If you receive our newsletter, we only keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed; and if you apply for a job with us, we keep your data until the end of the application process.
How do we secure your data?
We use security procedures in order to prevent unauthorised persons from gaining access to the data. Right2Grow staff members are not allowed to make data public, unless permission has been given by the parties involved. Or when they are legally obliged to do so. If they send data to external parties, this must be protected by a written mutual contract and sent, for example, via a secure data connection.
Third party websites
This privacy statement does not apply to third party websites that can be accessed through links on the Right2Grow website. We are also not responsible for the privacy, practices, or content of these websites.
Unsubscribe or change your data
You are entitled to know what personal information Right2Grow holds about you and you can always have your data changed or deleted. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Of course you can always contact us to ask for your personal data to be deleted or amended. You can let us know if you do not wish to receive e-mails or other information from us. You can do this by sending us an e-mail or by unsubscribing to our newsletter through the link in the newsletter itself. You can send an e-mail to: info@right2grow.org
